Description

What is Gumloop?

Gumloop is a business AI agent platform for creating agents that work with business information and tools. It brings models, instructions and connected data sources into a shared system. That can be useful when a task needs more than a standalone chat answer, such as reviewing records and preparing a clear next action.

How it helps

The connected agent builder supports connectors, reusable skills and agent workflows. Gumloop also describes browser work and human approval handoffs. Configure the handoff around the action that needs review, rather than assuming every message or account update will wait automatically. The safest first evaluation is a small read-and-draft workflow.

Build around one complete business task

Start with an input you recognise and a result you can verify. For example, read a permitted enquiry, extract a company name and create a review row in a sheet. Keep the first version short. Once that path is reliable, add classification or drafting. A simple complete workflow is easier to improve than a large diagram whose individual steps have never been checked.

A simple example

For example, use Gumloop to review five internal enquiry records and prepare a short follow-up checklist. Let the work automation service label missing details and draft questions for a colleague. Check each suggestion against the original record before connecting a step that edits the CRM or sends an external message.

Validate the AI result before routing it

Define the fields and allowed labels expected from the model. Check for missing data and a response that does not match the structure. Send uncertain cases to a review path rather than letting an invented value control the next action. A confident-looking sentence is not the same as a valid company name, email address or approved category.

Setup and limits

Compare agent credit costs and agent access controls before inviting a team to Gumloop. The team agent workspace now advertises Pro and Enterprise, while older articles describe Free, Solo and Team plans. Use the current plan page. Included credits, orchestration fees and the selected model route all affect what the service costs for your workflow.

Protect actions that affect other people

Let a person review a customer reply or important record update before it is sent or committed. Test with sample data and confirm the connected account’s permissions. Keep retries in mind: if a later step fails, repeating the entire workflow could duplicate an earlier action. Decide how each run is identified and how the workflow recognises a record it already handled.

Gumloop pricing

Pricing checked on 20 October 2026 · USD unless another currency is stated
Plan / route Monthly or usage price Annual option Included use Extra costs / conditions
Trial 14 days Not a free annual plan Eligibility and trial allowance apply Trial access ends after the stated trial period.
Pro From $37/month Annual price not confirmed; check checkout 20,000 credits/month; current page lists unlimited seats/agents 8% orchestration fee listed; review the billing basis.
Enterprise Custom Contract-dependent Custom usage, policies and support Deployment options and model billing differ.

The current Pro/Enterprise page replaces older Free/Solo/Team pricing. Subscription credits, model consumption and the orchestration fee need to be read together; a seat allowance does not mean unlimited AI work.

Compare credit and orchestration charges

The current pricing separates a plan’s credits from an orchestration fee. Read the calculation before comparing the headline subscription with another automation product. Model selection, file size and repeated steps can affect the final usage. Unlimited seats does not mean unlimited AI processing, and a trial should not be presented as a permanent Free plan.

Who should use it?

Gumloop fits teams that want to share and manage agents across connected business tools. Start with one task owner, a narrow data scope and a reviewable output. Measure credit use and completion quality on the same task before expanding access, instead of choosing a plan from a large feature count alone.

Common questions

Do I need programming skills to start?

The visual workflow is designed to reduce manual coding, but you still need to understand the input fields, expected output and failure cases. Begin with a process you can check by hand.

Is the trial a permanent free tier?

The verified offer is a 14-day trial. The current public Pro plan starts from the amount shown in the pricing table; do not label that trial as an ongoing Free subscription.

Check the official pricing and access details before choosing a plan.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths

  • Connects agent work with existing business tools.
  • Supports shared agent workflows.
  • Provides a trial for a controlled evaluation.
  • Makes spending and access controls part of the platform.
  • A visible workflow makes it easier to discuss the process with someone who does not write code.
  • Structured outputs can reduce repeated copying between documents and business tools.
  • A trial gives a team a limited window to test a real workflow before subscribing.
  • Shared seats can simplify collaboration when several people maintain the same automation.

! Weaknesses

  • The current trial is not a permanent free plan.
  • Orchestration and model costs need attention.
  • Connected accounts expand the data and actions available.
  • An incorrect extracted value can spread into several connected systems.
  • A repeated run can create duplicate updates without a clear record check.
  • The orchestration fee complicates comparisons based only on the monthly headline.
  • A time-limited trial does not establish that a useful workflow will remain free.
